Ingredients:
1 can of black beans
1 cup white rice
onion
cherry tomatoes
old bay seasoning
chili powder
olive oil
In a pot bring two cups of water to a boil. Pour in the rice and lower to a simmer.
Rinse beans and empty into a frying pan. Dizzle with a bit of olive oil and add in chopped cherry tomatoes and onion. Stir around while adding lots of old bay seasoning and some chili powder (or any other spicy spices you prefer!).
Let the beans cook on low heat until the rice is ready, stirring occasionally. When you can mix the rice and not see anymore water in the pot it is ready. Pour the rice into the frying pan and mix together until the rice has taken on the color of the spices.
